The Role

The position is accountable for management of quality projects and/or participation, as a quality SME, in business projects. In this, he/she will work collaboratively with/within multifunctional teams.

He/she will support the quality organization in a staff/SPOC role active in process and problem analysis leading to continuous improvement proposals.

He/she will support the digital & data ambitions and programs of the quality organization.

The position is responsible for quality problem solving and issue management for SAP and Process Control Systems. This is a Quality key user role in the area or responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Project management
  • Drives and/or supports lean initiatives and (quality) improvement projects and proactive programs.

Eg. Project support role in MES Geel implementation, participation in Transcend project,…

Quality Excellence staff role & program assignments
  • Supports strategic initiatives as a site Quality representative.
  • Proactively/reactively reports out status and progress of initiatives for which he/she is the departmental Quality SPOC connect.
  • Identifies problem statements and opportunities through process analysis and influences decision taking and creation of a common strategy.
  • Supports the develop cGMP objectives and strategy in collaboration with the quality management team.

Operational & troubleshooting support roles/Execution Systems and SAP Key user
  • Serves as knowledge owner to support the business in issue management and troubleshooting, quality procedures and process improvements, … for SAP and Process Control Systems.
  • Acts as a Quality SAP key user in relation to the release and master data process
  • Participaction in the QA community for digitization, SCAN and SAP

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in current GMP are required
  • Knowledge and Experience with Project Management is required
  • Experience in leading multifunctional teams successfully
  • Must have good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries through influencing, negotiating and partnering
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team
  • Knowledge and Experience with Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in finding creative solutions and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in driving technology innovation and transformation
  • Business Core ERP Processes and SAP knowledge is required.
  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in pharma, chemical or biotechnology industry
  • Fluent in Dutch and English languages and excellent communication skills
  • Strong quality & service minded
