R&D Automation Engineer ⚡

Come and aid millions of people struggling with diabetes worldwide! A rapidly growing HealthTech company looking for an R&D Automation Engineer in Europe to develop an exciting device facilitating diabetes patients to take health in to their own hands. They are seeking for a hands-on R&D Automation Engineer with experience in HealthTech who would have the opportunity to improve lives of many patients and revolutionise diabetes management.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in MedTech/HealthTech setting adhering to standards such as IEC62304 and ISO13485
  • Building new R&D systems and writing software for testing, data collection, and analysis
  • Establishing test methodologies and record test procedures
  • Executing data analysis and generate test reports
  • Executing failure mode element analysis (FMEAs)
  • Automating and reducing cycle time of established assembly processes

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, applied physics or similar
  • Experience with Python, C++ or Matlab
  • Prior experience within MedTech, and working in a start-up is a plus
  • Strong analytical, hardware, and software skills
  • Ability to lead engineering projects
  • Experience with optical test automation is considered beneficial
  • Previous experience with quality and regulatory standards: ISO13485, IEC62304
