Our client is an international company specialized in the design of electrical machines. For its headquarters located in Liege, we are looking for a Project Manager in order to reinforce its staff.The R&D Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design of rotating machines (parts and assemblies). She/He drives projects from the design specification to the prototyping and validation.If you are looking for an interesting opportunity that combines technology, invention and continuous improvement, this one is for you!
  • Define design specifications, project planning and participate to prototype testing.
  • Identify solutions and make recommendations in line with the technical objectives (performance, safety, compliance with applicable standards, cost).
  • Design assemblies, draft parts, write specifications.
  • Run technical calculations, in collaboration with specialized engineering teams of the group.
  • Assist Operations and Quality Department for the procurement of parts, manufacturing and assembly.
  • Assure proper product documentation and certification.
  • Actively contribute to product safety management.
  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering branch
  • Relevant work experience is an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Proficient in the use of 3D design tools (e.g. CREO, SolidWorks) and PLM (e.g. Windchill), including 2D drawings with geometrical and dimensional aspects
  • Fluent in English and French
