Our 97,000 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionBeing part of the Global Industrial Safety Team and reporting to the Global Equipment Certification Manager, you will be in charge of:
  • Supporting to prepare new templates for new / varied service scopes being developed / implemented.
  • Supporting with development and implementation of new training schemes and upskilling of workforce to changing demands in skills and certifications.
  • Maintaining the global capabilities matrices for the global operations.
  • Maintaining the SharePoints of Industrial Safety Equipment Certification to allow access to the information.
  • Supporting the management and the organization of global meetings for trainings and alignment.
  • Auditing affiliates ensuring they are aligned with the group strategy, policies and practices.
  • Supporting to further deploy the digitalization project of services.
  • Supporting in preparation of marketing materials for new and existing services.
  • Being a key contributor in the continuous improvement process of the organization
  • At all times, complying with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Must – university degree or equivalent, preferable in business or relevant technical discipline.
  • Must – business grade English language
  • Desirable – additional language capability
  • Desirable – qualification as Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO 19011) issued by an accredited body (40hrs course)
Experience
  • Minimum 5-year experience in TIC / Technical Services / Operations particularly those providing statutory, regulatory and similar high-value compliance services in competitive markets.
  • Knowledge of audit practices (e.g., EN ISO 19011), assessed and confirmed by an internal or external organization
  • Experience in dealing with claims and complaints, evaluating and managing risk.
  • Familiar with matrix structured international organisations advantageous.
