Software Engineers are key members in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for producing and releasing new applications, features, and enhancements to improve the value of our products, applying the full understanding of software engineering discipline and industry best practices.

Prophix is used by a 2500+ global customer base every day for budgeting, reporting, and integrated financial planning. Our engineers collaborate in an agile environment with the entire development, product management, and user experience teams to write high quality, testable, and maintainable code to deliver and implement new product features.

What You Will Do at Prophix

• Work closely with senior development team members on major architecture projects, design, and implementation.
• Coordinates technical dependencies with other scrum teams.
• Collaborate with other engineers to share best practices and knowledge.
• Stay up to date with new tools, frameworks, technology, and design patterns.
• Participate in the definition and improvement of the existing processes and technology.

What You Will Bring to Prophix

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Development of web applications with Microsoft technologies: C#, ASP.Net/Core, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, PL/SQL.
• Deep expertise with microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Any cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
• Git source code repository and continuous integration tools.
• Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Good level of English.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located.

Preferred Qualifications

• Another European language.
• Availability to travel for small periods (up to 1 week), in Europe, Canada, USA.
• A positive attitude, friendly and agile mindset.
