Service Sales Specialist - Electrification

As a Service Sales Specialist you maintain the relationship with our customers. With your technical-commercial knowledge, you advise the customer in choosing from the various maintenance, upgrade, retrofit, conversion and service contracts, with the aim of making a significant contribution to the growth and success of our department. Reporting to the Sales Manager Electrification, you will play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Establishing long-term customer relationships, reacting immediately to issues and demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge of products and solutions
  • Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy, and managing associated administrative sales processes
  • Utilizing the database to grasp the existing installed base, and identifying and developing sales opportunities
  • Preparing and reviewing sales plans and proposing recovery actions when needed
  • Actively promoting ABB’s service products and solutions in marketing activities (e.g. trade fairs and customer meetings) while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities

Your background

  • You combine a strong commercial insight and a result-oriented attitude with the necessary relational skills.
  • Engineering degree in Electromechanics, Energy or any related fields
  • The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Good command of the Dutch, French and English language in word and writing.
