Technical specs of the positions are given below ::

Position 1 – Snowflake Architect –

1. Snowflake Architect (Position: 1, Location: Belgium) Onsite -- Innovation Medicine Beerse, Belgium

· Overall 15+ years of experience and success in consultative deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions

· Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with ~4 yrs experience in SNOWFLAKE and DBT or
• Master’s degree with ~2 yrs experience in SNOWFLAKE and DBT or
• PhD and 0-1 years of relevant experience in SNOWLFAKE and DBT is mandatory

· Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, Data Applications)

· Hands on development Design and Develop applications using Snowflake (preferably on AWS)

· Responsible for technical design, writing, support and operations of efficient, scalable, and extensible data integrations and ingestions & participate in architecture and design efforts.

· Conduct PoCs for new technology exploration e.g., DBT for implementing SCD

· Understanding of enterprise data management concepts of (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, Data Applications

· Experience in Snowflake Architecture including Snow SQL, Performance tuning, Compute and Storage

· Expertise with Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features.

· Experience in Data Migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouse

· Expertise in using various data sources like JSON, Parquet, and ORC etc.

· Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.

· Collaborate with the customer’s operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization and design a technical architecture to meet those goals. Participate in configuring the architecture and advise engineering teams on its efficient use.

· Develop scalable production ready data integration and processing solutions.

· Strong Oral and Communication skills and client facing skills are mandatory.

Position 2 & 3 – Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

2. Senior Data Engineer (Positions: 2, Location: Belgium) Onsite Innovation Medicine Beerse, Belgium

Senior data engineer with total IT experience of 12 years and with relevant experience in Snowflake with extensive hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool), Airflow, Data Vault & Snowflake cloud platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4+ years of relevant work experience in SNOWFLAKE and DBT;
• Master’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant work experience in SNOWFLAKE and DBT;
• PhD plus 0-1 years of relevant experience in SNOWLFAKE and DBT
