Key Responsibilities Include- Manage the production plan for the operational horizon (13w) based on the demand plan: customer demand & dependent requirements (a combination of forecast, contracts, and orders), taking into account industrial constraints and capabilities (capacity, batch size, etc.) and inventory targets
- Responsible for stock levels for all solid SKUs in his/her responsibilities. Responsible for communication with the customer (care).
- Reflect tactical decisions in the operational plan
- Collaborate with transfer team to solve unbalances between operation plan and demand.
- Collaborate with other planners (Liquid planners, schedulers, central planners, demand planners, and raw material planners) to ensure the consistency and feasibility of plans and to solve operational supply issues
- Collaborate with the plant to adjust capacities/capabilities on the operational horizon
- Drive the plant on adherence to agreed calendars and shift regimes (in accordance with the tactical plan decisions) and reflect agreed changes within the supply plan
- Challenge the plant on performance - Adherence to plan, Rates, OEEs - and reflect agreed parameters within supply plan
- Communicate the production plan to the plant (handover to schedulers & align with production)
- Follow-up scheduling and execution, make sure the production plan is respected, and agree on action plans in case of gaps
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support decision making when several options are identified
- Manage phase-in / phase-out on the operational horizon
- Maintain master data needed for operational planning (within the defined scope)
- Setup/model changes to capacity (e.g. new line) based on input from OSCO Strategic Projects
- Build reports and follow KPIs on availability, stock level, and production rates
- Implement best practices and be involved in the continuous improvement initiatives
- Product availability
- Inventory levels vs. Targets
- Operational Plan adherence
- You have obtained a masters degree (preferably in an economic / logistics direction) or you have equivalent experience
- Experience in a supply chain planning environment is an asset
- The first experience with team management is a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French & English
- You are analytical and result-oriented is characteristic of you
- You are also a communicative team player with an assertive approach
- Go-getter (capable to cope with setbacks)
- Being able to work under pressure and manage different things at the same time
- Able to set priorities
