Join our team as a Structural Engineer and help design innovative timber structures in close collaboration with clients, architects, and internal teams.

About This Vacancy

As a Structural Engineer, you will:

  • Lead technical studies based on architectural plans and modeling files.
  • Perform structural calculations and resistance analyses in compliance with Eurocodes.
  • Prepare detailed calculation notes and collaborate with the drafting team to develop execution drawings, with a focus on complex connections.
  • Ensure the safety, stability, and performance of timber structures.
  • Optimize structural designs for cost-efficiency and material use.
  • Apply current standards related to fire safety, acoustics, thermal performance, waterproofing, and structural integrity.
  • Define assembly methods and construction sequencing.
  • Justify and defend your engineering decisions to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and load path analyses.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and suppliers through regular project meetings.
  • Conduct quality control checks during prefabrication and perform site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.

What We Expect From You

What We Expect From You

  • A degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering, with a specialization in construction.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the timber construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of statics, material mechanics, and the structural behavior of timber.
  • Proficiency in structural modeling and calculation software such as Cadwork, ACCORD BAT, ACCORD 3D, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • A proactive mindset with strong organizational skills, capable of managing priorities and taking initiative.
  • A genuine interest in timber construction, with a desire to learn, grow, and stay current with industry developments.
  • Confidence in leading meetings and engaging with various stakeholders.
  • A service-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to understand, relay, and act on technical information.
  • Comfort working in a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to a team-driven approach.
