Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product (Finished goods, Value Added Pack and POS) supply strategic plan in conjunction with regional supply chain director designed to support country growth
- Be an active part of the Benelux & Nordics leadership team; ensure strong supply chain representation and collaboration
- Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution
- Manage the Benelux & Nordics distribution budget and deliver a pipeline of cost related projects to beat inflation over time
- Own the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure business KPIs are met including availability
- Ensure that logistic service/warehouse providers adhere to agreed standards and KPIs; conduct performance reviews and mitigate risks
- Establish policies, procedures, performance metrics, and resource requirements to ensure reliability, speed, convenience and best value to customers
- Respect the regulations associated with the Supply Chain activities (customs duty, excise, VAT, Strip Stamps etc)
- Manage the Demand and Supply Planning processes to ensure product availability
- Identify and execute the balance between customer requirements, inventory optimization, manufacturing efficiencies, including capacity planning, SKU rationalization, planning and execution
- Establish and maintain effective cooperation with key stakeholders
- Share best practice and cooperate closely with Supply Chain teams across WEUR, ANZ
- Develop team by ensuring core functional competencies are met, conducting regular Let’s Talk sessions and performance reviews, coaching to ensure successor is identified
Skills and Experience
- Broad Supply Chain experience, ideally focused on the customer side rather than production/manufacturing
- Experience in successful leadership of a team, with the ability to inspire and develop high performance
- Fluent French, Dutch and English language skills
- High learning agility, adaptability and track record of exceptional results
- Results oriented change agent with analytical skills
- Determination to succeed in a new environment whilst building sustainable relations with own team and customers
- Experience in other departments such as Sales or Finance are most welcome
- Broad range of digital skills
