Job Purpose
As Supply chain planner you are part of the Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department and actively participate in the S&OP and Budget processes. You monitor the balance between demand and supply in our 14 Passenger Tire manufacturing plants (5 European and 9 import plants) on a tactical horizon (2 to 18 months).
You interact with the other LSCM teams (production planning, distribution planning, strategic planning) as well as with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Manufacturing and Product Planning departments, both within the Headquarters as within the regions.
As Supply chain planner you are in charge of identifying bottlenecks over the Tactical horizon and proposing countermeasures, defining a detailed supply plan in OMP for that horizon and managing the production priorities and the implementation of the stock targets tactics.
Responsibilities
- S&OP :
- Setup and execute Monthly Tactical run using the OMP tool
- Analyze plants and machines load
- Identify Bottlenecks/issues and propose countermeasures
- Identify potential opportunities and present them to Sales and manufacturing
- Participate in Pre S&OP meetings
- Propose different scenarios/options to trigger business decisions
- Interface with the operational planners to ensure a smooth handover of information
- Production allocation for plants :
- Setup and execute Yearly Budget run using OMP
- Calculate Import needs for budget
- Analyze plants and machines load
- Close collaboration with Strategic, Technical Center Europe and Industrialization teams
- Tactical Planning :
- Setup production priorities in agreement with sales Department
- Implement stock targets strategies in collaboration with Inventory optimization team
- Identify plant mold (manufacturing equipment) needs
- Lead Handover meetings to production planning
- Continuous improvement:
- Collaborate with IT and Center of Excellence to improve OMP tool and processes
- Take active part in projects (e.g Mold project)
- Process harmonization of newly added regions into the EMEA HQ (India, Russia, MEA)
- Degree level expected: Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply chain areas (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production planning, Inventory management, S&OP process) within a complex international environment
- Advanced level in Excel, experience with SAP/OMP/VBA is a plus
- Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
