In the Interchange MFT team we are responsible for the file transfer tools, used for both internal and external connections.

On the one hand, we support the products Connect: Direct and UDM (Universal Data Mover) on both Mainframe and Open Systems.

This makes us the point of contact for the support teams when more complex file transfer problems arise.

At the same time, we manage file transfers to and from external parties via the Synchrony Gateway and Seeburger.

Responsibilities - expanded

Within the Interchange MFT team you will work as a Systems design Engineer.

You immediately receive operational assignments and the associated responsibilities, and thus get to know the systems in order to grow further.

After a short training and introduction period you will be responsible for setting up, installing and maintaining the middleware components on Windows, Unix and / or Linux servers and zOS. This brings you into contact with all possible aspects of file transfer.

You work together with colleagues of our team in a challenging and changing environment. You ensure the necessary realizations in accordance with the agreed timings.

A selection from the range of tasks:
manage and update the current file transfer frameworks
assisting the other ICT teams in setting up new transfers
Establish and maintain external connections
In terms of internal, and external file transfer

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of file transfer concepts, ranging from certificates, codepages, protocols, ...
scripting skills are a plus
sense for a very varied and broad deployment due to the integration atmosphere: deployment on both Open Systems and mainframe, packaging, maintaining scripted frameworks, installations, ...

You are assertive, convincing, diplomatic and a self-starter at the same time. You like to take on responsibilities and you are able to work independently and in a problem-solving way.

At the same time, you have strong communication skills, as you regularly come into contact with internal customers or external parties. You enjoy working on a project basis and you can work constructively and professionally with colleagues within the team and throughout the organization in a sometimes time-critical environment.
