Where will you be working?

Our client’s unit (Service 2 Employee) manages the world of "your digital workplace" and therefore steers - together with Corporate HR, Facility Management and Communication - the digitalization of all internal employees. They provide you with your personal laptop, which allows you to be connected at the office, at the client’s premises and at home at all times. They connect your mobile devices. They boost your digitality via the O365 applications and they give you insight into how you can grow in digital collaboration using the digital footprint. They support you in using the digital tools and offer help and solutions to problems.

This vacancy is part of the "Modern Endpoint Management Team". MEM Team ensures that every user can use his daily business applications as efficiently as possible, in a modern way, i.e. in a ’future proof’ environment.

How do we do this? In other words, which services does MEM provide?

• They make sure that they have performant machines available, tailored to the needs of the customer (power laptop, 2-1 machines, etc.)
• They build a powerful Windows Operating System, with of course a lot of attention for the protection of their data.
• They are the driving force behind the development of the strategic workspace
• They make sure their platform is secured against all new threats.
• They do the management and support of the Scan & Print functionalities
• Together with their external partner the support and develop the developers workstation on MacBooks
• They do the management and support of the ’corporate & private enrolled mobile devices

Responsibilities
As a system engineer you are jointly responsible for the development and support of the current and new workstation.

You will help to ensure that the team can deliver value to our customers in a high performing way. Your technical experience in Windows operating systems and endpoint security is an important asset.
All this with a view to timely and quality deliveries and as operational support for other colleagues in the team.
You are not only responsible for the construction of new solutions but also for the daily management once they are in production.
Stability, performance and security of the solution are crucial parameters, whereby the needs of their customers are central.

It is equally important that you can work in a team in which feedback and new ideas can be freely shared so that the team and yourself can continue to grow within the agile structure.

Qualifications

As an experienced System Engineer/IT professional, you possess the following skills:

• You have broad technical experience in Windows operating systems (WIN10). Expert level!
• Expertise in a cloud environment is a skill that they are looking for the further development of their new workplace. You can provide a number of experiences as reference.
• Knowledge of security technologies with a view to integration, configuration and maintenance within a modern endpoint platform.
• You are communicative and confident to take the lead in creating & implementing new services.
• You are able to work in a rapidly changing environment and constantly strive for improvement and quality.
• You are flexible and can quickly respond to unforeseen circumstances, last-minute adjustments and, sometimes, tight deadlines.
• You are familiar with powershell scripting and query languages (SQL, KQL).
• You are familiar with the TTP’s configured in the MitreAttack framework. You are familiar with the current attack techniques and can anticipate this by adjusting our security tooling.
• You are familiar with and can use the sysinternals tools and windows performance analyzer for troubleshooting the windows operating system.
• Practical experience with Antivirus, endpoint detection and response, Host intrusion prevention and host firewall.

• You support the Product Owner in creating and updating the product backlog.
