As Technical Purchasing Officer you will be responsible, amongst other roles, for cross-border and centralised purchasing initiatives related to our investments.

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

Purchasing
  • Setup, coordinate and execute a centralised purchasing program
  • Offer support to local purchasing teams (knowledge sharing, strategy advisory, negotiation involvement)
  • Develop a detailed understanding of our suppliers base:
    • Identify potential partnerships / framework agreements
    • Review existing agreements
  • Perform supplier data analysis, and track market landscape (market dynamics and alternative suppliers)
Supply chain risk mitigation

In Close Collaboration With The Procurement Officer
  • Perform supply chain audits (e.g. EcoVadis)
  • Work on the implementation of any upcoming EU regulation impacting our supply chain (e.g. EU Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence)
  • Ensure good implementation of our procurement policy
Do you recognize yourself?
  • You have 5-10 years of (international) construction purchasing experience
  • You understand the market dynamics of construction goods (price evolutions, scarcity,…)
  • You are a commercial profile with strong negotiations skills
  • You are not afraid to challenge the obvious and continuously look for improvement opportunities
  • You are not afraid to take initiative and take responsibility for your actions
  • You are a strong communicator and fluent in English
  • You have a talent for aligning country specific processes on a European level
  • You have an analytical mindset
