Barco’s Enterprise divisionis on the lookout for a talented Test Automation Engineer to join our Meeting Experience business segment, led by the innovative ClickShare product line.

ClickShare is Barco’s next-generation wireless collaboration tool for meeting rooms, trusted by thousands of customers worldwide.

Function

You will collaborate on enlarging and adding new levels of test automation to our ClickShare portfolio. These are Barco’s wireless next generation collaboration tools for the meeting room, used by thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities

As our Test Automation Engineer, you will:

  • Ensure Software Quality: Monitor and maintain the quality of software across all ClickShare products.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to enhance the testability of newly developed software.
  • Automate Test Cases: Support continuous integration by automating test cases. All automated tests are written in Python and run on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android).
  • Validate Features: Validate features developed by other scrum team members and ensure the Definition of Done is applied.
  • Work in a Multi-Cultural Environment: Collaborate with our Automation and Validation teams in India, Taipei, and Romania.
  • Share Knowledge: Share tools and best practices with your test development colleagues.

  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with test automation across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android).
  • Quality Assurance Expertise: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high software quality standards.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work closely with developers to improve testability and validate new features.
  • Continuous Integration Knowledge: Experience in supporting continuous integration by automating test cases.
  • Global Team Player: Comfortable working with international teams in India, Taipei, and Romania.
  • Innovative Mindset: Enthusiasm for working in an environment where innovation is key.

You will work closely with the scrum teams and other test automation engineers at our headquarters in Kortrijk, Belgium.
