Job title: IT/MES Tester

Location: Braine-l’Alleud (2 days onsite & 3 days remote permitted)

Languages: English and French

Contract Duration: ASAP – April 26, 2026

Job Description

The IT/MES Tester is responsible to support OpenText ALM usage in the context of a specific testing program, supporting; training session, tracking testing execution defect management and testing reporting/KPI. He / She manages, executes and follows up of IT testing (i.e. project functional and non-functional testing activities).

Major Accountabilities

IT/MES tester will be in charge to design, review and execute test scripts for particular MES which is OpCenter (former XFP):

  • Manage testing planning and coordinate testing resources when needed
  • Set up, design and execute test scripts (functional and non-functional) using appropriate testing tools
  • Coordinate and generate testing reporting/KPI for specific project in scope
  • Advocating appropriate level of testing in system implementation processes and quality in defect resolution.

Typical Day

  • Design, review, and execute test scripts for MES (OpCenter/XFP)
  • Manage testing planning and coordinate resources
  • Execute functional and non-functional testing
  • Generate testing reports and KPIs
  • Support OpenText ALM usage and defect management
  • Advocate for quality in system implementation and defect resolution

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience with OpenText ALM (mandatory)
  • Experience with OpCenter (XFP)
  • Manual testing (functional and non-functional)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Proactive and service-oriented mindset
  • Medior tester with 3–4 years of experience
  • Available full-time or at least 4 days/week
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
  • Pharma industry experience is a plus

Nice to Have

  • ISTQB, TMAP, or GAMP knowledge
  • Experience in Pharma industry
  • Familiarity with MES systems (1)
  • French language skills (2)
