Unix, Automatic Storage Management

Database – Experience with Oracle Database 11g R2, with operating systems Linux.

• Experience in Database administration fundamentals - Installation, configurations, Manage - Schema, data backup & recovery, Storage allocations, query executions.

• Database administration (Advance level) - Experience with Database tuning and optimization (Size, space, performance, memory allocation)

• Experience with Data Guard administration. Creating physical and logical database, manage reporting, querying, testing, and backups

• Intermediate level experience with advanced SQL queries and execution.

• Experience with Linux operating system with basic administration such as directory configurations, file management, execute scripts.

• Desirable - Experience with Rack and Grid administration - Create, manage RAC databases, Automatic Storage Management, high availability.

• Desirable - Experience with ASM administration -ASM space management techniques, Create, manage flex ASM, Maintain and manage Automatic Storage Management components.

• Desirable - Experience with Clusterware administration - Understanding of Clusterware, install & configure, manage and maintenance of flex cluster.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey messages at different levels – detailed and high-level management

• Ability to effectively drive resolution of issues and roadblocks

• Highly motivated and proactive to ensure the success of the team and product

• High degree of ownership to deliver expected objectives

• Able to multitask and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and objectives
