The core tasks are

Welcome the customers upon their arrival
Complete the administrative formalities related to their stay
Receive payments for guest accounts, both at the time of registration and at the checkout.
Maintaining the shift cash register, correct closing of the register and processing the shift receipts.
Cash and currency exchange for guests.
Key delivery and management of the luggage.
Post various costs.
Concierge duties: informing guests about hotel facilities, local attractions, restaurant suggestions & reservations.
Telephony: handling incoming calls, transferring to the right conversation partner.
First-line complaint handling.
Correspondence: booking reservations, answering emails.
