Dematic’s Mobile Automation branch is looking for a… Functional Analyst AGV Mobile Automation Join the best talent in the global Mobile Automation industry! Come develop the software responsible for a robot fleet’s traffic control software, allowing it to flawlessly control and coordinate on-site. Make the analysis for groundbreaking offboard solutions, in close collaboration with each customer. While the core software is developed by a large development team, you’ll focus on individual projects, visiting clients on the fly and experiencing the project environment from day one. Does this sound like you? Can you identify where previous well known solutions can be applied for future projects, and determine what project-specific solutions might better be introduced as generalized features available for all future projects? If there’s anyone who can fully customize our standard software to meet a client’s needs, it’s you, as our functional analyst. - Assisting pre-sales efforts by supplying generalized concepts, answering, or getting answers to special customer inquiries, and providing validation of offers made to potential new customers, interested in purchasing mobile automated solutions. - Facilitating AGV project teams’ software engineering efforts and assisting project managers by clearly defining project specifications and requirements. - Direct communication with customers to conduct the above. - Making sure that what was built matches expectations (this is not a testing role, though you will attend/approve “happy path” demonstrations and similar). Since you’ll be checking in with individual customers, you’ll get to travel about 10% of the time. A nice plus, right? What we offer:

Does this match your skillset?
You’ve got those 5 years of relevant experience in your back pocket, together with your analyzing skills and use them to support customer needs and translate them towards our software team. Needless to say, you’ve got a degree in engineering, computer science or a similar field. And then you also
  • Have solid knowledge of product design documentation
  • Aim to have direct involvement with software development teams
Have an eye for detail, consistency, and high quality
  • Have strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Are flawlessly fluent in English. And if you master Dutch, that’s a plus.
