As a Functional Analyst you act as the liaison between IT and business within TVH Parts. In close collaboration with your IT colleagues you analyse the needs of the business.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Investigating and decomposing business requirements and converting them into a detailed user story in order to provide high quality input towards the software developers for adjustments or configuration changes of the software product;
  • Mapping processes and information flows in close collaboration with all stakeholders;
  • Using different ways of gathering input such as event storming, story mapping, user journey generation,..
  • Driving the squad in its understanding of all user stories to ensure that a realistic estimate of the story can be made and/or ensure that external parties are aligned with and have the information they need;
  • Follow through on your functionality in its entire life cycle, from analysis until production;
  • Collaborating with your Product Owner by providing your insights and knowledge of the product to make sure that the right actions can be taken.

Profile

  • Is interested in playing a key factor in supporting our global, growing business;
  • Has +2 years of experience in functional or business process analysis;
  • Is proactive and always tries to understand the bigger picture;
  • Has a Bachelor degree ( IT, applied economics,..) or equivalent by experience;
  • Fluently speaks English, both written and verbally;
  • Has the ability to communicate in both technical and business-friendly language;
  • Is a naturally collaborative person who communicates in a straightforward way and with full transparency;
  • Is experienced in collaborating with external partners and/or vendors;
