General Ledger Accountant - Brussels

Robert Half Talent Solutionsis currently looking for a General Ledger Accountantfor a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the media international sector.

As General Ledger Accountant you will beresponsible for:

• Support monthly and annual Close Processes;
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger;
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries for accruals;
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accounts;
• Ensure data accuracy;
• Reconcile financial statements and accounts;
• Prepare sales teams’ bonus calculations;
• Perform analysis on accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Assist the Accounting Manager to perform various analysis and prepare bespoke reporting.

The requiredprofile for the General Ledger Accountant position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of BE GAAP;
• 3+ years of experience working as a GL Accountant, or a similar role in an Accounting department;
• Ability to analyze/solve accounting problems and errors and respect deadlines;
• Highly computer literate (MS office);
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluent in French and English;
• Pro-active, organized, dynamic and accurate;
• Team player and ability to work independently.
