Company Description
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for leading a team of high performing Customer Project Managers, formulate and execute a customer centric strategy and drive customer project management to maximise business performance at TOMRA Processed Food.
Specific responsibilities:
Operations:
Exercise project management best practices and oversee project activities consistent with the established scope and requirements
• Deliver client-focused communication and execute customer centric strategy
• Manage complex strategic projects in alignment with our company goals
• Drive outstanding business results and first-class employee development
• Schedule management: including resource planning, sequencing of tasks, estimating, identifying dependencies, and tracking procedures
• Scope management: including project initiation, scope planning, definition and change control procedures and approvals
• Cost management: resource planning, cost estimation, budgeting, and control activities.
• Risk Management: risk planning, identification, mitigation, and remediation
• Quality management: responsibility for project deliverables
• Communications: management of project team communications with key stakeholders
• Documentation: Manage product documentation process and ensure completeness.
• Training: Establish training program and execution
• Deliver best practice, structured customer project management to the organisation to strengthen our customer intimacy
Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
Actively engage with key internal stakeholders cross-company
• Actively work in partnership with internal teams Services, Sales, People & Organisation, Engineering and Operations
• Lead a team of Regional Customer Project Managers that are responsible for local customer project managers
• Develop productive relationships and maintain an atmosphere of trust
• Effectively resoles conflict and communicates disagreements without being disagreeable, offending or building resentment
• Establishes rapport quickly and takes initiative to build/strengthen relationships with others
Organisation:
Observe and comply with policies, procedures and quality management systems.
• Observe and comply with our code of conduct
• Positively and actively support effective communication, encourage and provide constructive feedback
• Support the overall organisational vision, values, and culture
• Any other reasonable duties as required
Health & Safety:
Adheres to all H&S practices and rules as they relate to the position and working environment(s) and seeks out advice when unsure
• Follow all established work procedures regarding the requirements for H&S, including the use of PPE were required
• Actively promotes and supports health and safety, and wellbeing initiatives or opportunities for improvement.
• Complies with establish work procedures and practices when working offsite
• Acts as an internal advocate for H&S and Wellbeing initiatives
Required skills and abilities:
• 10+ years’ experience in technical project management role for CAPEX projects
• Strong experience in leading or directing projects
• Strong experience managing projects, scope, and time
• Independent and self-motivated
• Strong leadership in people management
• Person who takes initiative and able to work independently
• Ability to deal with deadlines and pressure
• Organisational skills, ability to plan in advance and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & oral) to interact with different stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, as required.
• Up to 30% travel
Education:
A Master or bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or business
Other skills/abilities:
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
