The Global Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns. Leading a team of experts and working alongside an array of internal stakeholders as well all as external agencies, the Global Digital Marketing Manager has an analytical mindset and clear focus on meeting business goals, as it’s the digital team’s mission to drive demand through lead generation.Main responsibilities and key activities:
Leading a team of digital marketing experts, you translate marketing business goals and objectives into actionable integrated digital marketing campaigns that deliver engagement, leads, pipeline and revenue.
You’re responsible to deliver a high performing ‘always-on’ experience including organic (SEO) and paid search (Pay-Per-Click campaigns such as Google AdWords), content marketing, UX/UI, e-Commerce, blogs, marketing automation capabilities, social media, etc.
You ensure the effectiveness of all digital marketing activity with a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset; measure and report performance of all digital marketing activities against agreed KPI’s and make recommendations to stakeholders in-line with business objectives and priorities.
Using the latest digital marketing tactics, you continuously improve Esko’s online web presence: increase awareness, web visits, lead generation and conversion. You drive impactful growth by generating high quality marketing and sales ready leads.
Effectively and efficiently handle the digital marketing budget, build, and maintain the marketing stack to support the team, the marketing campaigns, and to maximize the return on investment.
You’re part of a broad, international and well-structured marketing team and work together with campaign managers and field marketeers to roll out global multichannel marketing campaigns.
You will work at the Esko headquarter in Ghent Belgium with the option to work remotely for up to 3 days per week.
You report to the VP of Marketing.
Qualifications and professional knowledge:
5+ years of relevant work experience in demand generation for software products and/or SaaS is a must.
Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Dutch is a plus.
Passion for analysing marketing data and translating results into actionable insights.
Proven experience with creating, managing, and optimising SEO and PPC campaigns, reporting on results. Experience with BI tools is a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console
Experience with a marketing automation tool
CRM (Salesforce.com)
Strong grasp on content strategy and demonstrated understanding of a marketing funnel, and how to align campaign strategies with customer journeys
Proven understanding of the buying cycle and how to implement strategies to generate and nurture leads
