Purpose:

The Global Product Innovation team is one of the group allowing to innovate for iconic brands. In partnership with our technical, commercial, innovation, and zone colleagues, our team is developing the best, superior Beers and Non-Alcoholic Beers to deliver more cheers to our consumers across the globe.

The role:

• Work in strong collaboration with Global and Zone Technical Centers, Brand teams, and Innovation counterparts to develop superior Beers and Non-Alcoholic Beers according to brand guidelines, quality standards, and consumer needs.
• Develop new product, from recipe design to production in research pilot brewery, to enable consumer tests.
• Technical lead of medium to high complexity projects: responsible to build a detailed plan, integrating all steps required to deliver agreed timelines, budget, quality, and objectives.
• Reporting of project to team members, and key stakeholders
• Work in collaboration with Operations and Technical Support colleagues to develop product technical documentations, enabling proper implementation of products in our breweries.
• Keep building up technical expertise, and leverage an established network within the organization, suppliers and related industry communities to identify new opportunities for AB InBev in the area of brewing, beers, and non-alcoholic beers.

Who we’re looking for:

Education

• University technical degree or equivalent (Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering) with a complementary technical brewing or formulation education.
• First experience in brewing operations, and/or beverage formulation.
• Quality experiences, and beer sensory qualification are additional assets.

Competencies :

• Passion and excitement for Brewing, Innovation, New Product Development
• Ability to generate test plans, interpret laboratory, and brewing data, to build creative solution accordingly.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects, with good planification, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong team player, results-oriented, always aiming to reach higher standards.
• Good communicator, with demonstrated ability to operate across different function, and cultures.
• Committed to continuous learning and improvement.
• Fluency in English; other language skills are additional assets.
• Knowledge of standard software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...).
