For TME Graduate positionswe are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)

Your Profile:
Your profile:
  • Bachelor or Master in electrical, mechanical, automotive, mechatronics or telecom engineering
with expertise in electric/electronics/telecommunication or data management.
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language).
  • You have good knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office. (Normal usage)
  • You have good knowledge of the automotive sector.
  • You are good communicator & planner.
  • You work very organized and accurate.
  • You are consensus-builder to convince stakeholders to meet the milestones & deadlines.
  • You have strong perseverance skills.

Your team and your responsibilities:
Team/Division description:
  • Certification/accreditation of Toyota vehicles to confirm that they meet the regulatory standards.
  • Homologation project activities consist mainly of:
  • Project Management
  • Confirmation of the vehicle compliance with the mandatory regulations
  • Manage the collection of Data & Drawings required for vehicle certification
  • Vehicle Homologation testing (witnessed by Authority Inspector)
  • Obtaining the Vehicle Certificates from the Authorities
  • Creation of the Certificate of Conformity (COC) for all European vehicles
  • Expertise on the applicable regulations and homologation rules in the TME sales countries (from Canary Islands up to Russia)
  • Act as European window for all questions on Homologation/Certification by the National Importers and other TME divisions.

Your responsibilities:
There are 4 main pillars assigned to the function. You will:
a) act as the responsible homologation window to coordinate all the homologation & certification activities (planning, compliance, data/drawings management, monitor the testing status, ….) for the assigned project(s) within the set deadlines.
b) provide Homologation expertise-support for non-standard projects (special versions, models developed together with other manufacturers, etc…)
c) represent the homologation division in new Mobility/New technology introductions, especially for projects where the development of new data management/distribution/telecom systems are required that contain Homologation information (ex. automated vehicles, connected cars, electrification….)
d) contribute in the homologation help-desk support team, by analysing & replying homologation and certification questions from our customers (mainly: Marketing, Product, Aftersales, Quality divisions and European Toyota/Lexus importers)
Next to these main pillars there are additional activities that apply to all team members:
  • Develop the Homologation Expertise for National/International Regulations
  • Act as the communication window with Importers in Europe to follow the regulation movement.
