1st Level Support - Lommel - Part Time - 1 year contract

This position is responsible for providing 1st Level Support for all standard IT equipment and software in Lommel.

The supported equipment includes, all Ford provided pc’s, laptops, printers and desk phones.

The role will be delivering first level support for the above mentioned equipment and provides application and technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Windows Global client and Microsoft Office support.
  • Software support for Ford issued and approved packages.
  • Hardware support (limited to Ford issued equipment)
  • Perform PC renewal activities
  • Stage or re-stage PC’s with Ford global client software using engineering run book
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately

Requirements:

  • Electronic technician or Information Technologies qualification
  • Good understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Business Networks and shared drives
  • Knowledge of Network Printers
  • Knowledge of IP telephony
  • Knowledge of global IT processes
  • Basic ITSM/ITIL knowledge
  • IT Security & Controls
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, German is an asset
