The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees by implementing, managing, and monitoring health and safety and environment. This role is crucial in creating a safe and efficient working environment by preventing workplace accidents and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the stow’ QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.
- Complies with the attitude of Lean and continuous improvements in the organization.
- Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are in compliance with stow’ QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.
- Create and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies within the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and assess risks. associated with various operational activities.
- Develop and deliver training to educate employees on safety policies.
- Oversee the maintenance and availability of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response tools.
- Create and implement emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local health & safety regulations
- Work closely with various departments to integrate HSE consideration in operation processes and decision-making.
- Promote a culture of safety within the factory by encouraging safe work practices and reporting of unsafe conditions.
- HSE Advisor Level 2 (Preventieadviseur niveau II)
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English
- Strong communicator
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and develop effective safety solutions
