ROLE SUMMARY:

This position is accountable for making sure that HSE programs are well implemented and meet the relevant standards and regulations in the plant, i.e. facilities provided are well maintained, regulation/ procedures are in place and implemented, hazard assessments are conducted, and, reduction of accidents both caused by unsafe acts and conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist and lead the cultural HSE behavioural transformation to achieve Zero accidents & incidents.
  • Responsible for documenting, coordinating and overseeing implementation of the Health & Safety programs, processes and procedures.
  • Participates in (self)audits/investigations to identify non-conformances and to facilitate gaps closure.
  • Follows up on non-conformances and develops systems to resolve them based on root cause analysis.
  • Ensures training is taking place to drive the desired safety awareness and safety culture and to ensure safety standards are well understood and applied throughout the plant.
  • Build and develops safety pillar and related programs with WCM/TPM/IL6S

PROFILE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in safety, its legislation, regulation & technical standards and auditing within a manufacturing environment.min 3yrs
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a cross-functional team, change management and project management.min 5 yrs
  • Technical insight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch and English) and ability to work with both individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Strong autonomy, drive and team spirit.
