This is a great opportunity to join us as an HR Business Partner in our location in St. Truiden. In this role you will focus both on business partnering but also on HR Data and Information analysis.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

  • Responsible for all HR processes and activities in the production environment of operators: recruitment, training, labor relations, organizational development, internal communication
  • First point of contact for employees, managers and social partners with regard to work-related topics;
  • Organizes and coordinates the entire HR cycle per employee;
  • Sets up structural consultation with the managers to implement, follow up, adjust and support standard topics. Topics include manpower planning, attendances and absences, training and development, internal mobility, evaluations, etc.
  • Consults with our social partners regarding various individual and collective employee questions;
  • Active participation and support in the consultative bodies: Works Council, safety committee and trade union delegation.
  • Further development of existing and new HR procedures and practices in the context of modern future proof HR management
  • Independently manages HR projects for the entire St. Truiden site: setting up, developing and following up;
  • Monitoring and application of social legislation.

HR Information Analysis

  • Analyze and evaluate HR data and metrics pertaining to headcount, retention, turnover, diversity, and others
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
  • Develop predictive people analysis
  • Ensure best practices are followed for data capture and tracking
  • Take the lead in maximizing the automation of HR activities (employee self service, HR portals, online HR tools or eHRM in general)

What will make you successful

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a production environment
  • Expert and experienced with the latest trends and insights within HR
  • Thorough knowledge of social legislation
  • Being able to express oneself flawlessly in Dutch and English (oral, written and presentation skills);
  • Result orientated, master’s level of thinking and working;
  • Able to work in a continuously changing environment;
  • Being assertive, driven, analytical, stress resistant, positive and proactive;
  • Industrial relations experience: a strong negotiator with excellent relationship and communication skills
  • Have a very high affinity with complex data and data analyses
  • In-depth knowledge of IT applications to move further and further towards automated HR applications is a must: Excel, Power BI, SAP or a comparable system.
  • Knowledge of special HR IT applications (time registration, SAP, Aspire)
