Introductie

Our client implemented an SDWAN solution based on VMWare Velocloud and internet connectivity. To further improve and maintain the new environment we are now looking for an SDWAN Support Engineer. Together with our SDWAN partner you will be responsible for the following operational tasks:
  • Health & Capacity management of the Internet & SDWAN connectivity in the region.
  • Continuous service improvement for our partner
  • Guarantee the quality of the CMDB
  • Review and optimize the current setup
  • Change process
  • Quality & standardization of the SDWAN connectivity and the dependencies (ZScaler), subnets, …

Next to the operational tasks you will take the lead in the design and onboarding of new sites, ensuring the right solution is put in place inline with the expectations of the business and our agreed standards. You will manage these new onboardings together with our partner(s) and ensure the connectivity is delivered inline with the agreed SLA’s and the expectation of the business.

Use your technical knowledge and experience to deliver the SDWAN connectivity with the right capacity, health and according to the agreed SLA’s & standards in the EMEA region.

Knowledge
Advanced knowledge in network technologies and routing.
  • SDWAN solutions – Velocloud or others
  • Good knowledge on different types of Internet connectivity
  • Advanced knowledge on routing and WAN connectivity
  • Experience with firewall technology is a plus
  • ZScaler – ZIA & ZPA
  • Cisco LAN/WLAN
  • Process experience
  • Change management
  • Capacity & Health management
  • Vendor management


Educational Requirements


  • Higher education or equivalent experience.
  • You are passionate about technology and more specific technologies around network
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
  • Technology certifications are a plus
  • ITIL Foundation
