Organisation And Department Description

Our client is looking for a high velocity Account Manager to help grow revenue. The company is on a high growth pace and needs a motivated and determined sales professional to grow the sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-5 years selling experience to be part of an exciting software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.

As Account Manager, you will spend your time between upselling at existing clients (60%) and opening new clients (40%).

Job Description

As Account Manager, you will spend your time between upselling at existing clients (60%) and opening new clients (40%). After an initial training period where you will learn about the Software platform and all its modules, you will be given a portfolio of clients.

Your Responsibility
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  • Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, authority.
  • Deliver quality and tailored demonstrations of the Software tool to prospects based on the prospect’s needs and priorities.
  • Supplement your pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches.
  • Meet or exceed your monthly quota.
  • Maintain or extend existing accounts.
  • Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices.
Profile
  • 2-5 years of experience as a quota-carrying sales representative and/or sales prospecting experience.
  • Ability to speak with CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, HR and ask intelligent questions.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment.
  • Genuine customer empathy and ability to coach customers for transition to digital mindset.
  • Organized and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in French, English and Dutch.
  • A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment.
  • A sense of urgency and persistence.
