About the job:
The account manager’s goal is to represent Aritech within the East- & West-Flanders region in the best way possible, and represent customers in the best way possible towards Aritech. He/she will do so by maintaining and expanding positive relationships with existing and new relationships including installation companies, consultants and end users within the territory.
In this job, the account manager is supported by a full team of Aritech technical support, customer service, inside sales, marketing, and administration.
Requirements:
- Exposure to or familiarity with physical security systems; access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance
- Technical background combined with strong communication skills
- Ambition to succeed
- Ability to build own credibility and develop effective relationships at all levels
- Curious, committed, good team worker with unyielding integrity
- Fluent in Dutch, sufficient working proficiency in French, basic understanding of English
- Experience in working in or dealing with large organizations is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Searches for new and long-term relationships, develops and maintains close customer relationship through regularly scheduled contacts and visits.
- Negotiates prices within the established procedure to ensure profitable sales orders.
- Assists in planning and developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategy within territory to achieve given turnover targets.
- Analyses customer and market needs, competitors’ products and sales strategies, reporting promptly new developments to management.
- Maintains control over selling expense limits imposed by company guidelines.
- Participates at trade shows and organises seminars and product promotions.
- Facilitates specific and regular customer commercial product training to ensure proper understanding of Aritech equipment.
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of daily activities and results.
- Accompanies installers and/or the technical support engineer on trouble-shooting assignments and calls on end-users when so requested, to take corrective action and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains liaisons with national account local branch offices.
- Offers marketing and product management suggestions for product development to meet customer requirements.
- Represent Aritech fully in line with the Code of Ethics.
