Client Details

Our client is a company which is well Established Company which is active in marketing sector , the company is a major player in the sector. Located in Brussels , currently looking for a bilingual accountant.

Description

  • You ensure the swift and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing invoices and bank transactions.
  • You maintain regular communication with all departments regarding invoice and bank transaction encoding, as well as accounting and analytical allocations.
  • You contribute to monthly and annual financial closings.
  • You perform checks and analysis of supplier and customer accounting data.
  • You ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures.
  • You verify accounting data and various legal declarations (VAT, intrastat, etc.), ensuring their alignment.
  • You oversee effective VAT deductibility in accounting operations and ensure proper record-keeping within the accounting framework.
  • You contribute to optimizing Accounts Payable/Receivable processes, as well as general and analytical accounting.
  • You serve as a primary point of contact for clients and suppliers to ensure payment deadlines are met.

Profiles

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or have equivalent qualifications through relevant experience in the field).
  • Prior experience in accounting is required.
  • You have a strong understanding of accounting processes.
  • You possess knowledge of VAT and its mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) is essential, and familiarity with WinBooks is a plus.
  • You excel in analytical and synthesis skills, with a strong commitment to accounting ethics.
  • You have a critical mindset, excellent oral and written communication skills, and exhibit traits of precision, discretion, and enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in the second national language is required.
