Activities - Responsibilities (IES)

Taking over the accounting for the company including the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements
Ensure the integrity of the books (general ledger, fixed assets, projects, vendors, debtors)
Coordination of intercompany voting, monthly and annual financial statements including input of the figures for IFRS according to HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
Contact for insurance topics as well as leasing and rental contracts
Processing and clarification of commercial law (Belgium GAAP) and support with tax issues
Handling of tax reporting
Coordination of technical topics with group leader creditors/debtors and taxes of the Shared Service Center in Munich (Germany)
Preparation of the annual financial statements and contact persons for auditors
Support of the plant manager in all questions concerning Belgian law or stately requirements
Preparation of the local financial statements in accordance with Belgian law as well as support/coordination of the preparation of the tax returns in cooperation with our local tax advisor

Activities - Responsibilities (CES)

Ensuring tax and accounting compliance with Bgaap rules/laws
Preparation of the local financial statements in accordance with Belgian law for servals companies (consolidated company at Bgaap level, research company and holding company)
Support/coordination of the preparation of the tax returns as well as tax audit in cooperation with our local tax advisor
Monitoring the transfer pricing flows and compliance with the contracts
Supporting on Tax and legal topics
Handling of tax group reporting

Required Competencies

Comparable according to German educational path: completed commercial training with additional qualification "Accountant"
In-depth knowledge of Belgian tax is key. Also knowledge on commercial law necessary
At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a tax consultancy or auditing firm
Good SAP R3 application skills (FI, CO)
Flexibility and resilience and good communication skills
Solid knowledge of national and international accounting standards
Language skills: French, Flemish and English
