Description

Tailormade Logistics (TML) is an international organisation, specialised in logistics and transport. We characterise ourselves by offering a customised service. Besides our headquarters, located in the Ghent seaport, we have a network of branches both in Belgium and abroad.

For the warehouse in Ghent, we are looking for a Logistics Assistant.

Your job description:

  • Together with your 3 colleagues you are responsible for the administrative follow-up of the activities in our warehouse.
  • You are responsible for the order and stock management of the products, so that the location of all goods in the warehouse is always known.
  • You are the SPOC person for the customer assigned to you.
  • You welcome the drivers and are responsible for the correct formatting and processing of various documents.
  • You are the first point of contact for internal colleagues regarding damage cases and other irregularities.

Competences

  • You preferably have a bachelor’s degree, but an A2 with relevant experience is obviously equivalent.
  • You preferably have a first work experience in the logistics world.
  • You are interested in stock management, handling and storage techniques, and are open to being trained in them.
  • You are familiar with the legal provisions applicable to the transport of goods.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English, additional languages (preferably Eastern European) are an asset, but not a must.
  • You have a strong analytical mind and enjoy solving problems quickly and efficiently.
