Your challenge

As an Advisory Consultant, you are committed to improving our customers’ supply chain design. Building on your experience in different industries, you inspire supply chain leaders with strategic advice, helping them to shape their future supply chain.

You Are Responsible For
  • Analyzing your customers’ supply chain needs and challenges.
  • Reviewing the current processes and roles, and defining the project scope.
  • Defining the ideal supply chain planning landscape and cycle, as well as the required organization to support this planning cycle.
  • Developing business cases and road maps, and performing maturity assessments.
  • Validating and (re)aligning your results with the involved stakeholders.

You work closely together with management at both OMP and the customer at all times. You support our Business Development team, targeting new prospects and staying in close contact with current customers. Your project insights also help our product development teams to improve and extend OMP’s software solutions.

Your team

As our new Advisory Consultant, you’ll be part of the Advisory team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Customer Solutions team. Customer Solutions helps customers master their supply chain by finding and implementing innovative solutions. We add value, bring calm to the customer’s work floor, and raise satisfaction for everyone involved.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented with a university degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management solutions.
  • The ability to comfortably work autonomously in a project setting.
  • A solid experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to quickly absorb information, and clearly present and discuss your findings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • The flexibility to travel up to 25 to 50% of your time.


Bonus Points If You Have
  • Business knowledge in one of our focus industries: chemicals, consumer goods, life sciences, metals, paper, or packaging.
  • A natural affinity with IT, both software and tools.
