Our client is a well established and high growth Semiconductor manufacturer who are looking to grow their operations in Leuven. As a result they are looking for an experienced Analog Layout Engineer to join the team.

As a member of the Analog RF team you will be responsible to deliver fully-verified, clean layout, this includes the following:

  • Designing complex layout for mixed signal, analog and RF circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Reviewing and analyzing floorplans and complex circuits with circuit design engineers.
  • Working with circuit design team to plan/schedule work and negotiate any necessary layout trade-offs as needed.
  • Interpreting LVS, DRC and ERC reports to find the fastest way to complete layout.
  • Utilizing advanced CAD tools and mask design knowledge to deliver correct and robust layout that meet stringent matching performance, area and power requirements.

Requirements

  • PhD or Masters degree
  • 5+ years of proven experience in analog, mixed-signal and RF layout in submicron Silicon processes
  • Understanding and implementation of good layout practices for matching, low noise, reduced parasitic coupling, area savings, electrical charge build-up etc.
  • Experience and strong skills with industry tools: Cadence Layout (L,XL, GXL), Calibre DRC, LVS, xRC(Assura), Annotation Browser, Connectivity Driven Layout, PVS…
  • Full custom analog block-level and chip-level layout and verification
  • Highly motivated, hands on and open to change
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Resourceful, excellent time management with initiative
