Position Summary

Currently we are looking for a junior AP Controller to ensure that all invoices of suppliers and declarations are registered, solving disputes, identify and improve work processes, according to the rules and regulations of Samsung, in order to achieve an adequate and in time payment of all invoices.

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Invoice handling

Handle all incoming invoices, within the rules and regulations of the company, in order to keep track of all invoices (in close cooperation with the SSC). Take care of reminder invoices and make sure the issues are solved in time and solving disputes such as price-differences, incorrect specified invoices (invoice guidelines). Adjust incorrect postings.

Verification of Sales Deduction related invoices and evidences.

Supervising the SSC

SSC is in charge of processing invoices and maintaining AP Master Data. They will directly report to the Sr. AP controller. Creating periodical reporting regarding performance and issues. Presence in weekly status calls.

Payments

Verification of payments created by the SSC and ensure evidence requirements. Create urgent payments on ad-hoc bases.

Business expenses

Assist employee’s with questions regarding business expenses and give new employees training regarding the business expense system and credit card related matters.

Others .
Keeping track on invoices with disputes and approval status during period end closing. Assisting other teams on an ad-hoc base (including AP team in NL and BNL Accounting team).

Skills and Qualifications

Profile (experience)

  • Bachelor degree in economics / financial studies
  • Trilingual (Dutch, English and French) for Belgium
  • Samsung DNA: Flexible / no 9-5 worker / Dynamic
  • Willingness to travel (frequent to NL Office / Quarterly to SSC in Romania)
