Job Title

Associate Analyst, Controllers (Rosetta/First Employment contract)

To join the Controllers Contra Revenue and Pricing Operations team based in Waterloo, providing support to Mastercard Europe’s organization. In this job, you will learn about Mastercard’s pricing and rebates (= discounts to pricing) to its customers. You will build a wide and global network of contacts, including within the sales team, wider finance team, the Global Shared Services Center and Customer Support. Responsibilities will increase in line with experience, and when ready you’ll work on cross-functional projects which will enable you to further develop your knowledge of the business. On-the-job and classroom-based training will be provided.

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for a number of contra revenue and pricing operations activities including but not limited to
  • Participate in the implementation of new rebates in the billing system
  • Manage certain billing processes and reporting for Mastercard Europe
  • Update pricing documentation
  • Review the setup of new customers or revisions in setup of existing customers in the billing system
  • Respond to pricing and billing queries from customer support and other internal teams, including using Excel modeling techniques and reporting tools to analyze billing

Your Experience
  • University degree in economics/business/finance or similar
  • Must be eligible for Rosetta position
  • IT literate with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Problem solver and a strong team player with an eye for detail and focus on accuracy
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) – other European languages are an asset
  • You work well under pressure, are able to manage multiple deadlines as well as naturally curious and a fast learner
