Integrated in Permanent Users’ group Team

Interface with ERTMS Project Operation (Analyse ERTMS CORE Enhancements required by projects & formalize technical solution)

Interface with ERTMS Core Development Teams (Verify with ERTMS CORE QCD feasability)

Specific responsibilities of the role:
Analyse part of contractual specifications. Engineering of architectures for projects. Review technical choices in his field of expertise. Assist on the creation, adaptation and testing of technical solutions for projects. Write documentation in order to secure a design to ensure customer satisfaction;

Manage and perform data prep and programming activities;

Participate in the bidding phase of small projects (technical choices, estimations of hours and material);

Take part in discussions with external parties in order to optimise the technical solution and avoid technical problems;

Give presentations to internal parties in order to transfer and maintain in the organisation the level of knowledge and expertise required;

Take the lead in working with subcontractors. Follow up and test the work done by contractors in order to guarantee the quality of the technical solution and to ensure customer satisfaction;

Might take the lead in a team of engineers;

Follow the application process regarding Quality and Safety (QCD, V cycle, etc.) but also capable of writing working instructions;

Interface with other entities in the project.

Education: Engineer (Bac+4 or Bac+5) in Automatic & Electronic System.
