We are looking for a Big Data Solutions Architect to manage the full life cycle of a Data Lake. He/she is responsible for recommending the most suitable application suite and for the successful roll-out and adoption of a state of the art Big Data toolbox.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following...

  • Analytical thinking/Problem solving skills * Strong business acumen * IT architecture expertise * Process management * Project management * Partner/Vendor management * Big data/Hadoop architecture framework (HDFS, Sqoop, Kafka, Flume, Hive, Pig, Kudu..) * Scripting languages Java, Pyhton, R * Datamodelling, ETL (Abinitio, Talend, Pentaho), SQL * RDBMS/NoSQL databases (DWH Appliances, Oracle, Couchbase/Hbase, Cassandra) * Data privacy/security (Kerberos, LDAP authentication, etc) * GCP ecosystem (Big query, cloud data store, firestore, cloud pub/sub) * API life cycle
