Business context and main purpose of the job:

More than 6 out of 10 young people in Belgium say there aren’t enough safe outdoor spaces to connect. With Lipton Ice Tea, we want to change that. It’s our brand purpose to enable and facilitate meaningful connections. We are looking for a new possibility embracer to join the Lipton Ice Tea team and drive business growth, the purposeful way …. The Lipton Ice Tea Way!

Lipton Ice Tea was born in Belgium over 40 years ago and has been raised ever since into the iconic brand it is today: The most meaningful beverages brand in Belgium amongst youngsters, the tastiest and most refreshing brand and with a brand power that is equal to Coca-Cola’s (With 1/50th of the resources, approximately. So quite an achievement if you ask our humble opinion.). We are the n1 brand within Unilever Belgium and have a market share of +60%, despite heavy competition.

We are at the start of an exciting growth acceleration journey with a sharper portfolio, on trend innovations, a new brand world, a data driven marketing framework and above all a purposeful vision. About you:

  • You have a marketing or agency background (local strategy & go-to-market deploy), preferably with some experience in channel marketing.

  • You embrace the Unilever marketing framework and have relevant achievements in one or more of these territories:

    X Getting real when it comes to consumer, market and product insights (GET REAL)
    X Developing (purposeful) communication and activation concepts (DO GOOD)
    X Develop and execute strong brand plans that can’t be missed by consumers and shoppers (BE UNMISSABLE)
    X Delivering turnover, penetration, share and profit growth while having a positive impact on people and planet.


  • You have a strong interest in digital transformation and marketing and are ready to push our brands to the next level.

  • You liaise easily with different people and levels. We highly value cross category and cross country collaboration and look for synergies where possible. You keep short lines with the European and Global teams in terms of insights and performance reporting.

  • You share our team values: we LIFT people up: you’re always Learning, you show Initiative, you bring some Fun and you do it Together.

Your key deliverables: Consumer and channel insights, (parts of) the annual operating and marketing plan, especially key channel activities. Innovation and activation concepts, product launches (including full project management), performance, NRM and portfolio analysis. Sustainability and purpose roadmap. And a strong in-market execution of your plans.
