About Our Client

Our client is a well know Retail Brand active in the DIY sector. They are well known in Belgium, the Netherlands and France and wants to keep it that way.

That’s why they are developing a new Online Marketplace to respond to the need of shopping online.

They are now recruiting a Business Developer for Belgium and France that will be able to convince sellers and their products to expose those on their new E-commerce platform.

Job Description

What can you expect as Business Developer E-Commerce Marketplace:

  • You will be the person responsible to identify and convince new sellers to engage on this platform
  • You will be responsible for the whole sales process, from first contact to the contact signing
  • You will also be responsible for the on-boarding of this new client on the platform
  • You will be responsible for Setting up the seller’s environment, including commissions
  • You will evaluate their content and share areas for improvement
  • You will be the first point of contact during this whole on-boarding

The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing/communication/economics/similar field;


  • 1 to 2 years experience in e-commerce, such as online marketing or retail category management;
  • A Commercial sense;


  • Affinity with DIY;


  • Excellent command of the French and Dutch language


  • Outgoing, positive and active
