We are looking for a Business Procurement Specialist for our plants in Nuenen (Netherlands, close to Eindhoven) and Lummen (north of Belgium). You will be responsible for the execution and orchestration of procurement activities on the location and be the first point of contact for the local team for Procurement topics.

Nuenen and Lummen are two production locations that produce cream specialties for the Foodservice and B2B Industry.

You have the ability to act as a true business partner and operate with speed and decisiveness to support the delivery of the business strategies. You deliver maximum value for the company by getting the most value from your supplier relationships. The Business Procurement Specialist is the filter between a diversity of local needs and the global priorities of the Procurement function.

What We Ask

• Minimum bachelor degree (HBO)
• Procurement or Supply Chain Management experience preferably in the food sector within a Multinational company
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset
• Project management capabilities to ensure flawless execution of our strategies and initiatives
• Fluent in Dutch and good work experience in English
• Self-supporting and at the same time team-player in multiple teams

Vacancy Description

• Demand Management: Help to build and have good insights in the cluster strategic demand plan (Business Procurement Roadmap) and translate this to local sourcing activities
• Contract Management: Ensure the local systems are up-to-date with the correct contract data and monitor contract coverage of the key and strategic suppliers in close alignment with Category Procurement where needed
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain efficient supplier relations for the key and strategic suppliers and do performance management on a regular basis
• Project Implementation: Lead or be involved in local changes and project implementations and ensure the savings pipeline of projects is properly executed
• Quality & Risk Management: Develop proper contingency plans in alignment with Supply Chain
• Strategic Sourcing and Sourcing Management: Execute sourcing activities for decentralized categories for the locations and ensure end-to-end contract implementation
• Stakeholder Management: Ensure to build and maintain good relationships at several levels in the organization
