Cloud Engineer | Azure Infrastructure

Job Title: Azure Cloud (Infrastructure) Engineer

Mission Duration: Full-time mission, estimated to last at least 2 years, starting as soon as possible.

Location: Gosselies, with a mandatory on-site presence of at least 2 days per week. The remaining time can be worked remotely.

The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for handling incidents and technical support requests while ensuring user satisfaction. Acting as Level 2 Support, you will manage complex issues related to infrastructure, Azure, networking, operating systems, access rights management, and data security. You will collaborate closely with the Level 1 IT team and Level 3 factories/suppliers to resolve incidents efficiently and contribute to the improvement of IT processes, document solutions, and participate in infrastructure development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, automate, and document solutions in compliance with established standards.
  • Provide operational support as part of a cloud architect team.
  • Facilitate the transition of environments to Level 1 support teams for ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide Level 3 support when necessary.
  • Automate and document solutions, ensuring alignment with standards.
  • Contribute to building a service catalog for future use.
  • Assist in the development of Cloud technical architecture in collaboration with the project and architecture teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Azure Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Azure Active Directory Domain.
  • Strong knowledge of governance tools and principles (Azure Policy, Azure RBAC, Subscriptions, Management Groups).
  • Fluent in French (minimum C1 level).
  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, and Bicep.

  • Autonomous and self-driven.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.

Additional Information:

On-site presence may occasionally be required for more than two days per week, depending on project needs.
