As an ideal candidate, you are a skilled Scientist - Characterization Expert in Colloidal and Nanoparticulate Systems with a passion for innovative research and a commitment to scientific excellence. If you thrive in lab-based settings and are excited by the prospect of exploring advanced analytical techniques, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

  • You study nanoparticulate and colloidal systems, such as nanocrystalline suspensions, oligonucleotides, (hydro)gels, and liposomes, using advanced analytical technologies.
  • You develop as a subject matter expert, designing, leading, and performing experiments in analytical development for colloidal systems.
  • You apply state-of-the-art science to problem-solving, providing relevant analytical results.
  • You work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, eager to learn and explore new techniques.
  • You lead and provide expertise for investigations related to commercial products.
  • You develop test procedures and write comprehensive scientific and investigative reports.
  • You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, and safety standards while staying updated with scientific literature.

Requirements

  • You hold a PhD in Chemical (Bio)Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or an equivalent area.
  • You are an expert in analytical techniques for studying nanoparticulate and colloidal systems, including DLS, SAXS, and zeta potential.
  • You have a strong background in preparing dispersions and understanding colloidal stability.
  • You possess good project management skills and effective communication capabilities, both oral and written.
  • You are a team player, able to collaborate in matrix teams.
  • You are fluent in English (both spoken and written).
