Job description

As Market Development Specialist, you are responsible for the development and expansion of an assigned (sub)market(s), in this case Agri.

Your responsibilities include the following:

Conducting market research and analysis in order to detect proper development and commercial opportunities.
Capturing customer needs.
Detecting (potentially) interesting negotiations and providing support for acquisitions that offer a strategic significance for TVH, and conducting a cost-efficient acquisition and marketing policy for this.
Providing technical and commercial support to employees.
Overseeing the supplier portfolio so that it is as varied and interesting as possible.
Overseeing the TVH database so that it continues to grow with relevant data.
Ensuring that a correct price policy is applied by consulting with the various departments.
Performing a number of marketing-related tasks in support of the department.

Profile

You have a Master’s Degree or equivalent by experience. You have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
You have a very good knowledge of English and French. Other languages are a plus.
You have a technical background and experience in the agri market.
You have strong communication and commercial skills.
You’re a positive critical thinker with a healthy ’do’ attitude.
You have strong analytical skills, are fluent with data/numbers and can generate insights to help advance the business.
You have a high sense of ownership and take initiative. You are decisive and can react quickly and effectively.
You are able to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders.
You are stress-resistant and can work with tight deadlines.
You are flexible and able to travel.
