As a part of the Product Team (consisting of a Marketeer, Designer and Product Engineer) you are part of the technical concept development of new products for the worldwide market.

Your Position:

  • You createproduct CADfiles of a various range of new products after the concept and design is finalized.
  • You work in close cooperationwith other colleagues in the Product Development Department and the Production Department, especially with the Product Designer and the Product Engineer to define the optimal 3D geometry.
  • You make digital studies (CAE studies) such as moldflow simulation to predict the quality of the molded part and the process window, strength analysis to validate the performance of the product, …
  • The preparationof the technical analysisof the parts is your responsibility. During multidisciplinary technical meetings you explain your analyses to define the final CAD data and ensure a smooth industrialization.
  • You are responsible to updateproduct CAD files e.g. of new products during debugging, of products that need improvement.
  • You ensure that the correct geometric information is available at any time during the product lifecycle.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering (mechanical, electro-mechanical), Industrial Design or Product Development.
  • A first working experience in a CADposition is a plus.
  • You are familiar with 3D parametric CAD software, by preference Siemens NX.
  • Knowledge of FEA is a benefit.
  • Experience with plastic injection molding process and molds for plastic injection molding is an asset.
  • Knowledge of characteristics of thermoplasticsand other material (steel, wood, glass, …) is a benefit.
  • You work accurately, have an eye for detail and you can deal with complexity.
  • You are fluent in English (other languages are an asset)
