Construction Manager – Groundworks
Belgium
£80,000 - £120,000 + Living away package

About the company

Our client is a largescale construction company specialising in large and complex Groundworks. Our client is a leading force in the industry across Europe, employing over 560 skilled professionals across six core areas. They work across a range of projects – residential and public spaces, data centres, public & private infrastructure, defence, highways, rail, and utilities – and are a trusted partner to Tier 1 contractors in the UK & Europe.

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a Groundwork and civil engineering package for Data Centre projects in Belgium. This role will involve the usual Construction Management duties of civils and groundworks the successful professional will report to the construction director. Individual project packages value range from €5 million up to €25 million.

About the requirements

  • Previous experience in working with Civil, RC Frame and Groundwork packages is a must for this position.
  • You should be able to demonstrate skills developed with a civil engineering or RC Frame and groundwork contractor.
  • Degree within a Construction would be advantageous
  • 2+ years experience with a Civil or Groundwork contractor.
  • An EU Passport or right to work in Belgium is a must for this position

About the Benefits and Rewards

£80,000 - £120,000 + Living away package

  • Accommodation provided at €1,200 per month
  • Flights – rotation every 2 weeks
  • Living away allowance
