I am currently looking for a construction / Site manager to join my client based nearGhent / Brussels in Belgium.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience in Construction, Installation and commissioning of large production facilities within the FMCG Industry. The candidate will be coordinating multiple stakeholders including the Civils / M&E contractors as well as the site teams and project managers on a Construction of a new production facility.

The client is working on the construction of a new FMCG production plant, they are delivering the full design, construction and commissioning for all aspects of the site. You will have to have had experience as a Construction / Site manager within these sorts of projects before.

START: November 2021

DURATION: 8 - Month Contract (extensions Available / Long term Position)

LOCATION: Dendermonde, Belgium

CONSTRUCTION / SITE MANAGER

· Production Plant Projects delivery experience (ideally onshore production plants, plant expansion).

· Experience with Civil, M&E and commissioning areas within a construction site.

· Technical construction experience, mechanical construction, sub-contractor management

· Strong ability to manage the time line of the project to ensure there are no delays. Managing all the stake holders to produce an efficient site.

· Knowledge Mechanical, Electrical and Civil engineering on a heavy production plant site.

· English and Dutch Language Skills (Must Speak fluently).

· VCA and all European site Certifications.

· Greenfield Construction experience as a manager.

· Design and engineering background

The site has just finished the foundation and the prefab of the building is in the process of being completed. You will then be used for construction phase through to commissioning of the plant. The project is estimated to take at least 8-months, but the company is likely to extend the candidates services for the right person.
